The End of "Race Based Employment"

Don't get me wrong, I know my history and I know what I'm talking about, so all you leftitsts out there might as well pick up a history text book and start reading.  I know about Jim Crow and the Klan, I grew up in the South.  I know about MLK and Malcolm X and I know about Barack and Co.  I know all about the struggle and trust me, I would have been "down with" it.  As a matter of fact I am still "down with" it.

Equality.  That is the message that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached in his day.  Do we all know what equality is or are we just pretending?  Equality is when everyone is treated the same no matter what their skin color is, what sex they are, what religion they are, what age they are, or what thier sexual orientation.  That is true equality and thankfully the Supreme Court realized this in the Ricci case.  I litteraly cheered when I heard that the SCOTUS had overturned Sotomayor and Co.'s decision in this case, you can ask my co-worker;  I think I scared him when I yelled out "HELL YESSSSS" in my best Howard Deen impersonation.

I am hopeful that this is the begining of the end of "Race Based Employment" or what we have been calling Equal Opportunity Employment or Affirmative Action.  How badly have we skewed equality as a result of these prgrams and worse yet how bad a diservice have we done our fellow man with these porgrams.

I'm not trying to put "African Americans" down by saying this, but how far back have we kept them with EEOC and Affirmative Action and Title VII and other such "racial quotas".  College admissions, jobs, etc.  How far back are they because some have been given an easier role in life because of these "equality" programs?

I have been heraring the storeis for years now of some "overprivilaedged white youth" not getting into Harvard while some "poor minority" student got in with a lower GPA and SAT score.  I have meet pleanty of managers in my various jobs who had to have been Affirmative Action promotions because they couldn't grasp simple management concepts or business concepts well enough to have earned any kind of promotion.

But as I said, I know my history.  I know there was a time when a minority worker would have been passed over for a less qualified white or a black sutdent would have been passed over for a less inteligent white.  But that is the past.  Now I fear that too many of our nation's minority youth have been indoctrinated to think that someone will always be there to give them some sort of assistance in life.

Now with true equaltiy looming, how far behind are our brothers and sisters?  How far behind is our nation's minority youth, who are as much the future of the world as thier white counterparts?  It's time we start encouraging our minority youth to do what others have never done, been affraid to do, or were not allowed to do.  It is time we start telling ALL that they truloy can be what ever it is they wish in life if they just put in the requisit effort to succede.  No matter what your sking color there are no boundaires and the Ricci case proves it, more than Barack's eletion ever will.

To all my fellow white conservatives and to all other who stumble across this blog I ask, no I demand that you take a few minutes out of your schedules this fall and volunteer some time with ANY children of ANY race or ANY social standing.  Let them know four things:  that THEY can succede in life no matter what their race, gender, etc; let them know that as long as America is a captialist country that ANY of them can become "rich" and not just by becoming the next Michale Jordan or Lil' Wayne or Bill Gates or Carlos Mencia; that everyone "deserves" fairness and nothing less: and that with a good EDUCATION and strong amibition ALL can become whatever they wish in life...

Just think, you could inspire the first conservative black president....

The Great Left Conspiracy Theory part 1

After reading this title I know many are sitting in their chairs wondering what exactly I am talking about. The great left conspiracy theory? WTF BBQ? :( What I mean is that over the last decade or so there has been a conspiracy to move our country further to the left, i.e. liberalism/socialism, than ever before. How? By subtly subverting our government and our economy. The left championed "Clintoncare" back in the mid-90's as the greatest thing since sliced bread. Even with similar numbers in Congress as we see today it failed to pass muster and was left by the way side as "Slick Willy"discovered that America was more conservative than he ever knew. While this was going on the Clinton Administration subtly subverted the country by passing new Housing and Urban Development (HUD) housing standards, which basically stated that there was a disparagement in home ownership across both racial and economic boundaries. In other words too many rich white peoplewere home owners and too many blacks and Hispanics were not.

How is this bad? That's an easy question to answer: Poor people do not own homes at the same rates as rich people for three reasons; they lack higher education, they lack financial savvy, or they lack gainful employment. Huh? If they lack education they are less likely to find a job that pays more than the minimum wage. If they ;lack financial savvy they are less likely to be able to manage what money they do have and investments in such a way as to lead to home ownership. If they lack gainful employment then they do not have the spare cash necessary to begin the home buying process, such as making down payments. The key word there is gainful employment. Many Americans are employed, and many of them make over the poverty level in a given year, but many are not gainfully employed, which means that at any given time their available capital for investment (whether that be stocks or real estate) is limited by which bills are currently due or past due. Basically they make just enough money to not receive welfare but not enough to spend $5000 on the down payment of a new home.

So, here comes HUD saying that more of these poor people need to be homeowners. And then groups like ACORNgot involved and started pressing banks to make these risky home loans as well. Then Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac jump in and start telling these banks that they would basically buy these risky loans as mortgage backed securities which they then sold to other financial companies. Certain members of Congress saw that these lending practices could lead to trouble and saw that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and a lot of other financial institutions could be in a lot of trouble and pushed for reform, especially with Freddie and Fannie because of their GSE (government sponsored entity) status. Certain key Democrats denounced the allegations as "unfounded"; and "unnecessary"; and a couple came very close to calling the allegations against Freddie and Fannie racist. Maxine Waters even stated that both were doing very well and that there was nothing to worry about, especially at Fannie Mae, headed by Franklin Raines.

Then we have the housing bubble collapse. Everyone, Republicans included, rushed to "save the economy" by passing the TARP bailout Everyone was rushing around trying to look like they were the one's who were doing it all to save it all. If McCain has stuck by his "not going to campaign til this is fixed" gun he might be in the White House today instead of Barack. But he didn't and look what it has gotten us: back door socialism... The government has fired the CEO of General Motors, they are forcing Chrysler to merge with Fiat, and they are imposing massive taxes on AIG bonus recipients. And they want more. They want to control compensation across the board in the financial sector.

Let me spell it out for some of you who are not as quick on the uptake as the rest of us are.
     1) Clinton era HUD standards caused banks to start making risky home loans to "poor minorities" in an effort to have :"equality."
     2) Uncontrolled sub-prime lending, backed by Fannie, Freddie and ACORN led to the "housing bubble"
     3) The government now has or is gaining control over two major sectors of our economy: the financial sector and the automotive                    sector.
     4) Socialism.

Can you follow that sequence from beginning to end or is that to convoluted for you? There's more in part two, coming at you later this week. I'll leave you now with a quote.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."-Norman Thomas, former six time Socialist Party of America Presidential Candidate

The Socialism Plan

Last year AIG made legally binding contracts with many of it's executives to give them substantial retention bonuses for their continued employment in its various branches. Months later AIG is given billions from the federal government to stay afloat. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was one of, if not the, architect of the first AIG bailout. Then Senator Barack H. Obama gets elected President of the United States. Chris Dodd puts a stipulation into the bailout bill that allows bosnuses before a certain February Date. Months later AIG is given even more money and a week or so after that Barack and company are “outraged” that AIG would fulfill it's contractual obligations to it's employees.

Here's the funny part. These bonuses are the second set of bonuses that AIG has paid out to its executives. The first set went to those executives who worked in one of it's failing divisions... you know, the one which caused it to need a bailout in the first place. These current bonuses, which the Congress is trying to tax into non-existence, are going to those who work in the divisions which have helped, along with our (the taxpayers') money, to keep the company afloat as long as it has. What odes this tell us (the taxpayers) and the rest of the world? Success is bad and contractual obligations do not matter anymore because Barack and the Democrats control the government. Scary, right?

No, what is scary is that this is all part of Barack and company's plan to take the United States from a free market economy to Socialism. That's right. It is a conspiracy. I know, I sound like one of those crazy people who say that JFK was killed by the CIA. But I'm not and this isn't crazy, its scary. Really scary. Crazy scary.

Barack picked “Turbo Tax Cheat” Timothy Geithner to be SecTres, Geithner knew way back in October that AIG was going to hand out bonuses and Barack and others have known for sometime now that AIG would be getting those bonuses. All of this “outrage” by the Democrats is all feigned and the Republicans that are following suit are doing just that. So, Barack knew and now he has the Congress taxing all of that money back into the Federal coffers, not back to the taxpayers.

Now Barack wants a new federal over site committee or some such thing to work with the banks. What he really wants if for them to fail at it so he can nationalize as many industries as possible. This is his plan for Socialism. Try everything else, but make it fail and then use that failure as an excuse to push forward with his goals to socialize our great nation. That's Barack's Socialism Plan. I HOPE HE FAILS! There now the left can persecute Rush and I to help mask their true intentions

Barack H Obama the Flip-flopper of the United Staes

I would say that we should start calling Barack FOTUS instead of POTUS but FOTUS is to close to FLOTUS and that we be demeaning to such great First Ladies as Martha Washington, Jackie Kennedy and Nancy Regan.

Barack cant decide what he means/meant anymore.  Back during the election John McCain said that the fundamental of our economy were still strong and Barack flammed him for it.  Now Barack says that the fundamentals of our economy are strong....  Flip-flopp.... flip-flopp.....

Now it's an every-other-day thing.  One day the fiscal situation is as bad or worse than the Great Depression.  The next there is "hope".

This is change?

I would say this is madness but I'm affraid Tim Geitner or Rahm Emmaunel are going to jump out and scream "THIS IS WASHINGTON!"

African American

Funny story.  I'm at work the other day riding around in the company truck listening to the radio.  It's a week day and its after six but weel before nine so, no "great" conservative talk radio on my local stations.  So im channel surfing and I come across one of the local rap startions.  The rap station is Coast 97.3 which is broadcast out of Wilmington, NC.  As I was about to hit the seek button I hear "African American?  What do you know about Africa?  We are all Americans..." and so on.  It was a black guy saying that.... not some red neck who called in to spout off hate speech, but a black guy and it was a promo for something, some kind of black film festival, which is possible because IIRC it is the time of year for Black Film Noir.

Just got me thinking... thats all....

Countdown to Responsibility

Tomorrow America celebrates the election of its first black (ok, partially black) President.  Tomorrow I celebrate the fact that the Obama Administration only has 100 days until it must start to take responsibility for their actions during the previous administration. The failure to reign in GSEs such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which rests not only with Democrats but with Republicans as well, being one of them. The Housing Bubble has burst, just like the S&L bubble and the dot-com bubble.  But, unlike these previous economic slow-downs, turn-downs, recessions or whatever you want to call it, there has been no quick rebound, such as the one seen after the dot-com bubble burst or after 911.  Why?  Not pointing any fingers, but certain political groups do not want the economy to make a comeback unless they can be seen as the driving force behind such a recovery.  How do they do this?  By allowing fear and panic to remain in the public's mind as long as possible, by telling everyone that it will not get better unless they do something drastic, like spending billions of dollars.  What's worse is that some of those who are now our "saviors" are directly or indirectly responsible for the current economic situation.

Please, for a moment, set aside political idealism and party affiliation and look at the facts.  The economy did quite well under President Clinton.  Much praise for Clinton has been branded about by certain people as of late (no one on this forum, my boss loved Clinton), but the fact that for six of his eight years in office the Congress was controlled my a majority of Republicans seems to elude some.  George W Bush had large shoes to fill after beating (or cheating, who cares) Al Gore.  He came into office with an economy that was slumping due to various factors and eventually lost a great deal of momentum after 911.  But, the economy rebounded and did quite well for some time afterward, it did not climb to Regan-esque or Clintonian levels, but it wasn't slumping as bad as it was right after 911.  Then, the midterm elections came about and many Republicans were voted out of office in favor of Democrats.  And now after six years of a majority Democrat Congress we are at the brink, if you believe the hype, of another Great Depression.  And What can save us?

Only two things Regan-esque economic decisions or another World War.  FDR didn't save us with the New Deal, WWII is what pulled the US out of the Great Depression.  And Jimmy Carter's horrific fiscal polices were only rectified by a Reganomics.

You have 100 days Mr. President.  You have 100 days Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Reid. You have 100 days Team Obama.  Make them count, enjoy them, because in 101 days you must all stand up and take responsibility for what you, and some of your fellow Congressmen/women  and Senators from across the aisle have done to this country and our economic future.

Ah the Holidays.

Ok, it's been a while since I last posted.... a lot has been going on.  Mostly it was the Holidays.  Thanksgiving, Christmas, and soon to come New Years Eve/Day...  Oh what fun it is to ride 300 miles to visit family.... or something like that.

So, I keep hearing certain relatives of mine referring to Bush as if they were hardcore leftists.  Here I though I came from more conservative stock....  Shocking.... No?  On one hand I have my grandpa talking about how the New Deal made things worse and yet he hopes that Barack and Co. will some how get it right......  Hmmmm.  Interesting. A Great Uncle and Uncle and I were all talking politics and one of them says that he voted for Barack... because he couldnt vote for McBush the Third.... not because Barack is the best man for the job, no, because hes not a Republican.... and then, it gets better, he says that Barack made all his money while living overseas.... and that Barack grew up a poor black child.

Thats when it hits me square in the face... my family only watches the MSM and, unlike me, never tune into conservative talk radio...  I just couldnt let the "poor black boy" thing slide, after all Barack isnt exactly Steve Martin (if you get it you do, if not, you dont).  My Great Uncle and Uncle were shcoked to find out that Barack was raise more as a rich white kid than poor black boy.... I wonder what else they missed out on?  Tony Rezkp, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers?  (If I spelled someones name wrong, please dont thinks its because I'm not educated, its because I dont care about them or repsect them enough to spell it right.)

Thnak GOD the Holidays are almost over.... I dont think I can take much more...

Where's my bail out?

Hey, Barack! Where's my bail out?  Before you go giving Ford, GM and Chrysler a big check, why not give it to those of us who need it the most, the middle class you supposedly care about?  Want to "stimulate the economy" give all of us a chunk of that $25 billion.  "I think its good when you spread the wealth around," OK spread some wealth my way.

I haven't really agreed with the bail outs.  I think its crazy to just keep handing out money left and right to everyone who asks for it.  It's a free market economy, let the market self regulate.  Of course the government got the banks into this mess, so they should get them out, to a degree.  But, not by taxing all of us into the poor house.  Why not cut government spending by cutting pay for all three branches of the Federal government?  These guys dont run in elections for the money, its for the power, so why not make them pay for their mistakes?

As far as Ford, GM and Chrysler go... let them eat transfer case. (LOL)  I think it would actually be good for all three if they went belly up. They could renegotiate union contracts if not completely do away with the UAW, thus reducing the manufacturing costs of the cars and trucks ther produce which would allow them to actually turn a profit...  That and anyone who knows anything about war mobilization knows that the DOD doesnt want Detroit going out of business and scraping their huge steel stamping facilities to try and produce cheap platic cars that run on batteries.  We need those plants just incase we have another international war, ie WWIII.  Think about it, who is better prepared to switch over to a war time production base;  Ford or Hyundai?

Give me (and the rest of the downtrodden, desolet, disspondent middle class) some of that 25billion...

Words of wisdom from a cyberpunk master...

Read Neal Stephenson's "Snowcrash" and "Diamond Age"......  Both are oddly accurate in describing the future we may all live in very shortly.

Words of Wisdom from a SciFi Master.

I'm currently re-reading Robert A Heinlein's SciFi classic "Starship Troopers" and I'm amazed by Heinlein's insight into the direction this country was taking and what the end consequences may be.  "Starship Troopers" was originally published in 1959 and is still highly popular today.  There is a quote I'd like to point out for those who have never read  this book and for those who have and glossed over the political and psychological/social aspects of the book.

"      "This very personal relationship, 'value,' has two factors for a human being: first, what he can do with a thing, its use to him . . . and second, what he must do to get it, its cost to him.  There is an old song which asserts 'the best things in life are free.'  Not true! Utterly false!  This was the tragic fallacy which brought on the decadence and collapse of the democracies of the twentieth century; those noble experiments failed because the people had been led to believe that they could simply vote for whatever they wanted . . . and get it, without toil, without sweat, without tears.
"Nothing of value is free.  Even the breath of life is purchased at birth only through gasping effort and pain."... "

This excerpt is taken from Chapter Six of the book during which the main character recalls a lecture given to him during a class called History and Moral Philosophy.  This excerpt comes after the teacher completely shatters the concepts of communism and socialism.  Isn't it interesting that a SciFi book written in 1959 can fortell the downfall of western democracy

Heinlein warns of people becoming to dependent on governemnt.  He also warns of the effects of the lack of effective corporal punishment in society.  In Heinlein's future the Terran Federation meets out punishments that fit the crime in a very public manner; lashing.  He speaks of law abiding citizens being affraid to enter public parks after dark for fear of being attacked by gangs in the Twentieth Century... that was in the realtively ordered late 1950's.  Fourty-nine years later, how far off are we from Heinlein's predicted outcome of people not being able to enter parks after dark for fear of violent attacks?

Americans have just elected a very liberal, very unexperienced junior Senator from one of the most politically corrupt areas of the country.  He achieved this by hiding his liberal agenda behind a mask of pseudo-conservatism and managed to convince many that they could get many things for free just by voting for it.  Free healthcare.... vote for Barack and you got it, of course someone else must actually pay for it.  Free money...  vote for Barack "Robin Hood" Obama and he will steal from the rich (those who make over $250,000) and give to the poor (95% of working Americans, most of which pay little to no taxes to begin with).  Vote for Barack and get it all free; without toil, without sweat, with out tears....

2012

Lets take a look into our conservative crystal ball and see who we can expect to see running in the Republican Primaries in 2012.

Sarah Palin;  Even after running as JMacs running mate in this years election I think we'll see Sarah again in 2012.  She might not be Governor Palin then though, she might be Congresswoman Palin or Senator Palin.  If she wanted two che could run for Senate in the 2010 midterm election...  After further consolidating her hold on the conservative reigns she might just lcok down the nomination in 2012.

Bobby Jendal;  The very successful Lousianna governor stands just as good a chance in 2012 as anyone else.  He is popular, charismatic, young, and well spoken.  I think that next to Sarah Palin  Bobby J has one of the best chances in 2012 of getting the Republican nod.

Mitt Romney:  We saw Mitt do a very good job in the Primaries and I for one would love to see him again in 2012.  As a very successful businessman Mitt ran several Fortune 500 companies and almost single handedly saves the Olympics.  If anyone is weel prepared to run this government the way it should be run (fiscally speaking) its Mitt.  I wish him the best in 2012 as he was my pick in the primaires, but it may be hard to compete with Palin and Jendal.

Huckabee, Juliani, and the rest:  We havent seen the last of these guys.  I'm sure they'll be back in 2012...

One last 2012 prediction:  Barack will have to run for his parties nomination in 2012.  After three years of his brand of polotics and a major Dem. loss in 2010 the Democrat party might be looking for a new contender for the Oval Office.  Expect the likes of Hialry Clinton and others to start vehemently attacking Barack after any infetismal mistake in office....

You might not hear the likes of Rush or Hannity talking about this any time soon, but I'm sure by 2011 they'll be talking about the possibilities...

The Youth Vote and the Election

I keep hearing about the youth vote.  I am the youth vote.  I, on the other hand, am not your typical youth in this nation.  I was raised to have certain values and morals and I have done my best to hold on to these moral and values.  I'm no saint, that's for sure.  I'm also not the best conservative in the world...  I think we need to legalize marijuana; it would be a massive source of revenue for the government and its legalization would reduce crime and hard drug use (cocaine, heroine, etc.).  I think we need to legalize prostitution; you can't legislate morality and you can't stop the world's oldest profession, plus it would cut back on the number of STDs contracted.  I also believe that even if the pro-lifers manage to over turn Roe v. Wade that abortions will still occur, states could then pass legislation that would replace Roe v. Wade, which is how it should be anyway... But, I digress.

Why did Barack win the youth vote?  There are several reasons.

1.  Liberal universities, colleges, and schools.  Students who were raised by conservative families can spend up to 17 years in classrooms being indoctrinated by liberal teachers and professors.  This is more likely to happen at the university/college level, but there are plenty of liberal elementary, middle, and high school teachers.  In universities across the nation the "youth" are encouraged to go out and make their own paths, to throw off what they have been taught their whole life and decide what their values and principals are, to become independent of their parents and grandparents belief system.  Some are able to keep their conservative viewpoint, but many succumb to peer pressure.  Having been taught thier whole lives to respect their elders and to listne to their advice these impressionalbe youth are easy targets for thier liberal professors and classmates.

2.  Our "American Idol" society.  Obessed with pop culture icons, the youth of this nation are easily influeneced by the "star power" of a candidate.  This election was turned in "So you think you can govern" by the MSM and the liberal blogoshpere.  Sarah Palin's RNC sponsored shopping spree and pregnant teen became more important election issues than Barac Obama's questionable associations with anit-semites and terrorists.  John McCain's lack of computer savy was more imortant than Barack lack of political savy.  And while Obama wanted to get back to the "real issues" the MSM and the liberal blogosphere made sure that the issues of how how many home Cind McCain owns and Sarah Palin's abilities as a huntress were well known.

These are just two of the reasons that the "youth" vote went for Barack.  A majority of the youth vote maybe, but not all of us "youth" are so illinformed and easily swayed in our opinions and values.  A few words of wisdom for older conservatives and politicians; dont water down the conservative message and dont stop telling the "youth" what that message means for them.  I think that us conservative need to start campaigning for 2010 and 2012 right now.  Lets do our best to encourage a "new" generation of conservatives to do their part in making this country great once again.

Obamanation's First Term.... There wont be a second.

Let's take a look at what Barack's first, and only, term of President will be like....

Baracks politics of change.... yeah right.  He selected Ron Emmanuele for Chief of Staff. Thats change we can all beleive in right?  Change to what, another Clinton?  If he really wanted to change things, why not some new faces?

Under the guise of "tax cuts" for "the poor" Barack will raise taxes.  "But he said he would cut taxes..."  Yeah, he said that when he was trying to get your vote, and after he did he said that "We're all gonna have to make sacrifices..."  You heard the man.  By either raising taxes outright or by letting the Bush Tax Cuts sunset Barack, and the other Democraps will raise EVERYONE'S taxes.  And please, dont say that he said that it wasnt raising taxes... what he said was "It will be like going back to tax rates under President Clinton."  That my friends is a tax increase, not a tax cut.  But, people view the Clinton years as one of the greatest periods of economic security, and therefore Clinton tax levels are a good thing.....  Bush tax levels are even lower on almost ever socio-economic group, but I guess that isn't good enough for some of us.  Oh, by the way, how exactly does one cut taxes for someone who doesnt really pay taxes?  Does that make sense to anyone?  If it does, please stop drinking the kool-aid, its bad for you and creates a negative sterotype....  What this "tax cut" really ammounts to is another government hand out, aka WELFARE.

Do you like conservative talk radio?  You might want to get in as much of it as you can....  Baracks's appointee to the FCC will most likely team up with the other Democraps on the board to inforce the Fairness Doctrine, which is "supposed" to give equal time to opposing political view points.  Of course we wont see "equality" in the MSM, and any we do will not be truly equal.  It is conservative talk radio that we have to worry about and the internet and sites just like Townhall.com.  Hopefully if the unFairness Doctrine gets passed then they will have to take everything as a whole, not individual shows and websites.  If not then at least HuffingtonPost will have to let some real conservatives post articles, not neocon solialist freaks like the ones on the staff...  And maybe if elRushbo is kicked off the air he'll go to XM and gve all of his regualr listeners a free subscription...

Barack will surpass Hitler as the man responsible for the most deaths. "How?"  By passing the Freedom of Choice Act wich will surpass Roe v Wade as the national defenition of a legal abortion.  The Freedom of Choice Act will completely undo all of the hard work done by the pro-life movement.  It will make it unconstitutional for states to pass laws that deny a "woman's right to choose".  It will end bans on partial birth abortions and overturn abortion limits across the board.  Abortions will not be "legal, safe, and rare."  They will be common and still as dangerous as ever, all they will be is LEGAL.

Affirmative action...  Many think that this is now a deunked theory because we elected Barack, a black man, to the office of President of the United States.... if only that were true.  While listening to one of my favorite talk shows today I heard a comment from the host's assistant or engineer or whatever (a black man, BTW) say that it isnt over because Barack is half white.  This will be the argument from now on.  You should all be prepared to have to defend yourselves if you say something like "afirmative action is pointles now because we have a black giuy in the white house."  You'll get an answer like "He's not black, he's half black.  His white half is what got him elected."  one of my co-workers, a young black male said that Barack wasn't black, "he's a mutt."  Under Barack affirmative action will probably get worse.

National security.... The Kenyans already EXPECT a lot out of their brother Barack.  LOL.  Joe the VP stated that a generated international crisis will occur within 6 months of Barack taking office and the President of Afghanistan has laready said that he hopes President Obabma will help put and end to civilian casualties in Afghanistan...  Barack will jerk US troops out of Iraw so fast it'll make the camels' heads spin and then its a sitting duck.  If the Iranians try to invade again the Iraqis wont be able to stop them.  Then we have an even larger enemy to deal with, after all, iran "is only a tiny country" unless it makes territorial aquisitions such as Iraq, which pust it a lot, lot close the Saudia Arabia......   If Russia goes crazy and invades another country what do you think Barack's gonna do?  Stand up to them the way a Ronald Reegan would? no, hell probably just tell both sides to calm down.

All in all Barack is going to devestate this country.  i dont have the time to get into the economic problems he wil lcause if he lives up to half his campaign promises or go more in depth into certain other things, but hes going to go down as the worst president in history.... He's gonna make Bush look like JFK...

The NEW US

A change is coming.  It is inevitable.  Our founding fathers knew that eventually the government would fail.  I can see the coming Revolution, no matter who wins the election.  I have a few changes I would like to suggest.

1) A new Bill of Rights
   1. This government shall pass no laws governing the freedom of speech, religion, or the press.  No laws shall be passed controlling the    content of any medium of expression.

  2.  This government shall pass no laws restricting the ownership of firearms which are attained in their states legally proscribed manner.

  3.  This government shall pass no laws which discriminate based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or which show a preference based on any of the afore mentioned factors.

  4.  This government will pass no laws which govern the right of a woman to choose, leaving such decisions up to the individual states.

I think we also need a Bill of Non-rights

  1.  You do not have the right to vote; it is a privilege reserved for law abiding citizens who are age 18 or older and who are capable of passing a competency test to be administered when one registers to vote.  This test shall be made to verify that voters are intelligent enough to make an informed decision when electing officials to public office.  This test shall not be designed to exclude any peoples from the voting process except those who are incapable of passing the test not due to any disability.  (After all, stupidity should not only hurt, it should be discouraged and frowned upon)

2.  You do not have the right to health care.  This does not mean that you do not have the right to seek medical treatment, just that it should not be everyone elses responsibility to provide it for you.  Those who can not or will not seek self provided health insurance can apply for governemnt aid to assist in paying medical bills, but the applicant must be able to prove that they were comletely unable to purchase insurance and did not bring the illness upon themsleves.  (If you have no insurance and have unportected sex, we will not help you if you get aids.  If you eat nothing but McDonald's all day every day and you get diabetes you are screwed, shoulda spent some of that money on insurance instead of hot apple pies.)

3.  You do not have the right to own a home.  You do have the right to work hard, save your money and manage your finances in such a way the you can afford a home.  Banks shall not make loans to borrowers who do not meet thier credit requirements and this government will not pass anylaws requireing them to do so.

4.  "There is no such thing as a free lunch."  Welfare shall no longer be a "free lunch."  All recipients of welfare shall be required to seek gainful employment.  Welfare benefits will last no longer than three years.  All recipinets of welfare shall be required to repay the federal government the costs of thier welfare benefits at a 0.5% interest rate with payments starting two years after the benefits period ends.

I'd also like to see the US Government legalize marijuana.  I know, a conservative that supports legalization/decriminalization of marijuana.. odd, but that's me.  If we were to leagalize it and tax it along the same lines as tabacco it would be a huge source of revenue for the federal government.

We NEED the fair Tax... no doubt about it.  Hey, Barack, you wanna level the playing field and make sure that everyone is paying thier "fair" share... then why dont you support the fair tax you Socialist f^%k?

My $0.02 for now... more to come.

Just a few more days until...

Until we find out (at least temporarily, because the results wont be final for some time) who our next president is.  Some liberals have promised that if Barack loses it will jump start the next Civil War.... That's amusing, especially coming from some Hollywood Liberal Elitist.  I thought they were all anti-war?

The La Times supposedly has a tape of Barack toasting a terrorist... and the left points out that a McCain backed foundation may have given the same terrorist money... to build appartments in the Gaza Strip or something like that...  What happened to "no guilt by assocaition"?  Barack isn't guilty for anything just because Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, and Rev Wright are...  Such hippocrasy is dishartning.

I just dont get it.  It's almost enough to drive a guy crazy...  I'll be so glad when the electon results start coming in on Tuesday....
